Privacy Policy


 1 OVERVIEW 

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and share your personal information when you access or use our Services or Products, as well as the choices available to you regarding your data. 

We gather your data to deliver, improve, and support our Products and Services. By using our Services, you acknowledge and agree to the practices outlined in this Privacy Policy. The terms used in this Privacy Policy, unless otherwise specified, carry the same definitions as those found in our Terms and Conditions. 

2 DEFINITIONS

2.2 USAGE DATA 

Usage Data” refers to information that is collected automatically during the use of our Services. This data is typically generated by interactions through the underlying infrastructure of the Service itself. Examples of Usage Data include, but are not limited to, details such as the duration of page visits, the features accessed, the frequency of use, and technical details like IP addresses and/or device identifiers. A “Data Processor” (and or “Service Provider”) refers to any individual or organization, other than an employee of the Data Controller, that processes personal data on behalf of the Data Controller. Data Processors act under the instructions of the Data Controller to handle, store, or manage data as necessary. We may engage multiple Service Providers to assist in processing your data more efficiently and securely, ensuring that the data is handled in accordance with our instructions and applicable privacy laws.

A “Data Subject” refers to any living individual whose personal data is being collected, stored, or processed. The Data Subject is the person to whom the personal information pertains, and they have specific rights regarding how their data is handled under applicable privacy laws.

In this context, the “User” is synonymous with the “Data Subject,” which is the person to whom the “Personal Data” pertains, and who is the subject of such data as defined under relevant data protection laws. 

3 COLLECTION AND USE OF INFORMATION 

3.1 When you create an account with TradesVPN and/or contact us through our website, chat support, and/or via email, we may collect personal information, which can include – but is not limited to – your name, address, email address, MAC address, IP address, as well as technical attributes of the products you use. This information is collected for the purpose of providing and improving our services. 

3.2 When utilizing a third-party payment processing service, we ensure that the same strict privacy measures are upheld to protect your personal information. We do not knowingly collect personal data from individuals under the age of eighteen. 

3.3 Additionally, we offer users the option to receive relevant product information, such as updates, alerts, and related product offerings, through an opt-in email platform based on your consent. 

3.4 We are fully committed to protecting your privacy and greatly value your trust. Under no circumstances will we sell, rent, lease, and/or trade your personal information to third parties. Similarly, your information will not be shared with any third party unless TradesVPN is legally required to do so. 

3.5 In some cases, TradesVPN may engage third-party services and may share certain information, including personal data, to enable those third parties to perform their services. Any third-party service providers we engage are contractually obligated not to disclose or misuse your information for any purpose other than what is necessary for the service they are performing on our behalf. These third parties are also required to implement a Privacy Policy that is at least as stringent as the one outlined in this document. 

3.6 You have the right to opt-out of receiving emails from us at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link provided in the email, if applicable. If you have trouble with unsubscribing, please feel free to contact our support team for assistance via our Live Chat support option on the website. 

4 TYPES OF DATA COLLECTED 

4.1 PERSONAL DATA

6.2 In addition to Personal Data, TradesVPN will retain Usage Data for internal analysis purposes. Usage Data is typically kept for a shorter duration, except in cases where it is necessary to retain this data for extended periods to enhance the security of our Service, improve its functionality, or where we are legally required to maintain the data for longer time frames. 

7 TRANSFER OF DATA

In the event of a merger, acquisition, reorganization, and/or the sale of company assets, your Personal Data may be transferred as part of the transaction. If such an event occurs, we will notify you prior to any transfer of your Personal Data. This notification will include information about the new entity receiving your data and how it may be governed under a revised Privacy Policy.

9 SECURITY OF DATA

Despite our best efforts to apply industry-standard security protocols, we cannot offer a guarantee of absolute security for your Personal Data. We continue to strive to use commercially reasonable methods and technologies to safeguard your information from unauthorized access, alteration, or disclosure, but we cannot ensure that security risks will be fully eliminated. 

10 DO NOT TRACK SIGNALS 

At this time, we do not support the Do Not Track (“DNT”) feature. DNT is a privacy preference that users can set in their web browsers to notify websites that they do not wish to be tracked.

You have the option to enable or disable the Do Not Track setting by adjusting the preferences or settings in your web browser. Please note that enabling or disabling DNT does not necessarily affect your experience with our Service, as we do not currently respond to DNT signals. 

11 YOUR RIGHTS 

11.1 At TradesVPN, we are committed to taking reasonable steps to allow you to access, correct, modify, or restrict the use of your Personal Data in accordance with applicable privacy laws and regulations. 

11.2 You can update your Personal Data directly within your account settings whenever possible. If you are unable to make changes yourself, please contact us, and we will assist you in making the necessary updates.

13 PRIVACY OF CHILDREN 

13.1 Our Service does not address anyone under the age of thirteen (hereinafter referred to as “Children”). We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from anyone under the age of thirteen (13).

13.4 If we become aware that we have collected Personal Data from children without verification of parental consent, we take steps to remove that information from our servers.
